Horses without Stables September 30, 2009
Hi friends,
I had a chance to talk to Cade Traveler, the gentleman who owns the stables down at Canter Farms. He’s a really nice fellow, and took me on a tour of the stables. He told me that there are all different kinds of stables found in North of North; from the normal stable to those underwater or up high in the Drasilmare Tree!
Here’s the interesting part: Mr. Traveler says that while some horses of North of North like going to these stables, most enjoy being free to go out and about. He says that there are horses who have never even seen a stable and probably never will! These horses, you can only meet out in the world, such as during an adventure perhaps. I wonder if I’ll get to meet one someday.

Summer Reading: Coral and the Pearl Diver Thursday, September 24, 2009
Hi everyone,
Summer's ending, but I was able to read all the books on my summer reading list. My favorite book that I read was Coral and the Pearl Diver. It’s another great book about life in North of North!
In this story, a beautiful water horse named Coral is destined to meet Miki, a carefree girl from the islands of Equinesia. Coral learns that Miki’s island home is in trouble because something is scaring away the fish from its reefs. Miki knows of a legendary Golden Pearl, which she thinks could be the answer to the revival of her island. But of course, I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it yet, but I will say it was very exciting and a bit unexpected! Did you put Coral and the Pearl Diver on your reading list too?
I’m a little bit sad that summer's ending, but I cheer up by reminding myself that the end of summer also means that Bella's Ball is happening sooner!
Lighting the Way to Bella’s Ball Tuesday, September 15, 2009
Hi friends,
These days, I am searching high and low for info about upcoming Bella’s Ball. I love hunting and researching for any information that’ll make an interesting story! It also allows me to visit friends by interviewing them. You can truly learn a lot just by listening.
For example, fireworks are a real favorite here in Trail’s End, and I just heard from Mr. Smithin that there’s going to be a wonderful fireworks display at the end of the Ball. It’ll light up the sky above Rolandsgaard Castle; doesn’t that sound beautiful? I want to help, so I thought of other ways to light up Bella’s Ball and made a luminary! You can make one, too.

Magical Plants of North of North, Wednesday, September 9, 2009
Hi everyone,
Thanks to you, I finally know what happens to the pumpkins planted in North of North when it becomes night: they turn into jack-o-lanterns! I’m so happy you told me; I was dying of curiosity. I still haven’t seen it happen in person yet, though. Have you? I’m sure it’s a marvelous sight!
It’s amazing that these pumpkins have such a transformation overnight, but they aren’t the only magical plant in North of North. Did you know that every plant in North of North is magical? Their roots spread magic through the soil and restore a little of the wonder and magic to the land. You and I can help North of North by planting gardens of beautiful plants!
